I grew up in Elko (a million years ago, HA!). If you are an ELKONIAN, you know Elko was an absolute FUN place to grow up, country life with a splash of city, attending Lakeville Schools. My first home purchase in the early 2000s is what brought me to New Prague, which is why my knowledge of New Prague and the surrounding communities is strong.
Communities like New Prague, Prior Lake, Elko New Market, and Lakeville provide the best lifestyle for people in all stages of life, I am proof of that. These cities and others like Montgomery, Jordan, and Lonsdale
are where I spent my time as a child and an adult, and where I raised my boys. I “kinda” know the area.
Speaking of my boys, all three graduated from New Prague and still live just minutes from me (LUCKY ME! 💕).
For a couple of decades, I was known as the local “Academy owner.” I built and operated a successful multi-location Childcare and Preschool Academy, growing it from just me and a few families to an amazing team serving hundreds. I passed the baton and sold my successful business in 2024 but

I stay busy with yardwork, gardening, feeding the birds, traveling, reading, or taking a dip in the pool (MY FAV!). And while I love getting my hands dirty, I also know when a task is out
of my comfort zone, that’s when I call in the experts (or my boys and boyfriend!) to step in and get it across the
finish line. Thank goodness I know people! I thrive off Minnesota’s changing seasons, though my favorite is
any time my face does not freeze off! I love hosting gatherings for friends and family for any reason at all. That
